I've had the HD2 since before Christmas and generally it's great and for connectivity etc, it beats my lady's iphone, but to the subject in hand.

#Htc music player more than 1000 songs how to#
Perhaps someone knows how to change all this using windows media once it's ripped?Īlternatively is there a music player out there for my HD2 (preferably free) that allows you to do what I want, ie change artwork, artists etc? Preferably running the program from my PC so I can manipulate it on there. I know how to change the track title/artists etc before ripping the CD, but I don't want to dig out all my CD's and re-rip them again. Is there a way to do this? I don't mind manipulating my files on the PC first, but to be honest I can't figure out how to do this on windows media once the CD has been ripped. I have a lot of albums where the artwork isn't automatically downloaded, and a lot of tracks where there are multiple artists and I would like to change it to just one. You just clicked on what you wanted to change in itunes, change it and it automatically synced with the phone. I had an iphone previously and it was much easier. Secondly, it isn't very easy to change the artwork (From hints and tips), and/or track title/artists. Instead I have to scroll endlessly through all of my music. Music Player question I've jsut started to use the music player on my HD2 and have to say there's a few things that I'm disappointed in.įirstly as already mentioned in another post, I don't like that there is no search function, or at least the alphabet down the side as in the contacts, to search through the albums/tracks much quicker. Who clearly is more intelligent than you appear to be Sorry but i never had a problem with properly named songs in albums I used (before Android) S2P player, as Sense is a lot worse experience than I used to get even on dumb-phones such as Sony Ericssons. I defend the OP to an extent, the mp3 playback is Sense is a bit shabby. Knowing the song not playing in the right sequence has nothing to do with the phone and is rather an issue with bad mp3 naming The man in dublin knows his way around the phone :P Seriously thinking of going back to an iPhone now, and this is sad, as all other aspects of the iPhone are crap Shouldn't really have to piss around like this though. There are loadsssss of mp3 tag programs, and everyone youask will advise a different one, and since i dont use one,, i wont recommend one! This pops up a box that shows the tags for that track. To see what i mean, do you have winamp on your PC? if so, open one of the mp3's, select it in the playlist on the right, and hit Alt+f3 Inside mp3's (and wma files) there is data such as 'artist, album, track number, genre, notes' and more. I'm probably being thick, but not sure what you mean by tags? I have seen albums where all teh tracks have 1 as the track number, in which case the player will put them in alphabetical order. The player doesnt look at the file order, it only sees the tags.
I use the music player in my car allot, and this is just redicularse. I've tried renaming my music files with numbers at the beginning.
I've tried using the home button instead of done. Oh btw, I've tried the reg tweak on the audio booster. Only minor things I know, but surely they should have figured this out. C'mon HTC, get it together - HD2 General WTF is going on with this thing?Ī phone of this spec, and it can't even play a music album in the order it's supposed to be in, and after every song, I have to go into the audio booster and put it back on!
